James Napoli

James grew up with itinerant bohemians who traveled to festivals along the East Coast in a rusty Winnebago. His checkered past includes stints archiving sounds at Cornell's Lab of Ornithology, teaching science at an alternative school in Oregon, studying ethnomusicology at Columbia, raising sheep in Vermont, running a rare bookshop and founding a webzine for young rural creatives. A freelance photographer, radio producer and event organizer, James is passionate about storytelling, community building and public media. Find him on Twitter @jamesnapoIi or Instagram @james.napoli.
