Andrew Lapin is a film critic for NPR and a freelance writer and podcaster based in Paris. He has written for The New York Times, The Atlantic, National Geographic, Vulture, Current and other publications. Born in Detroit, he has received the RIAS Berlin Journalism Fellowship, the Tent Creative Writing Fellowship, the Film Fest Ghent Young Critics Fellowship and the Hopwood Award for fiction.
